Single Coil Pickup with Cast Aluminum Cover
Here is my version of one of the finest guitar pickups ever produced. If you want beautiful vintage clean tones for jazz, rockabilly or early blues, this is for you! Also makes a great steel guitar pickup. These pickups feature a steel base plate, alnico magnets, hand-wound single coil, polished sand cast aluminum cover and mounting ring. Each pickup is hand made, using vintage tool and techniques. These are low impedance pickups, with a resistance measurement of approx 3.3k using a larger then typical wire for the coil. Low impedance pickups are not recommended for use with lots of distortion. Two pickup rings are available, standard is short flat ring, with optional tall ring, where extra height is needed, available at no extra charge. Tall ring may require extra delivery time. Price is per pickup.
Pickup orders take about six to eight weeks to prepare.
